In the wake of the news that the mall in South Park Mall in South Brooklyn will be converted to a park, it seems like a logical next step to make the area a place where everyone can walk and play.
But that’s not the case.
As the Associated Press reports, parking for the mall is slated to be removed, and the area will be “removed from the list of public park spaces.”
It’s actually a very good thing, but it’s not all sunshine and rainbows: In the case of the South Park mall, this is not going to be a “walk in the rain” but rather an attempt to create a space where everyone will feel at home.
This isn’t a new concept: The South Park neighborhood is known for its many restaurants, coffee shops, and outdoor festivals.
But as the AP notes, “The mall’s owners say it won’t have the amenities of traditional retail, which can include cafes and shops catering to the homeless, and will also be smaller than some other neighborhoods.
For example, the South Lawn mall will be only about the size of the nearby Williamsburg Bridge Park, which will include a small playground.”
This is a much better option for a park than just putting parking everywhere.
It will have a place to play, too, since the South Street Mall is only two blocks away.
In fact, there are a couple of other parks in the area, including one at the intersection of North and East Fifth Avenue in the East Village.
The South Street mall has a smaller parking lot, and it’s easier to walk around there.
There are plenty of options in this area, and they’re all great for shopping.
The area is also just a short walk from the new Macy’s flagship store in New York City.
So there are plenty options for people who need a place of their own.
But if you’re a mall-goer looking for a quiet space to play or just a place for people to congregate, this isn’t the place for you.
The mall is one of the last places that you should be parking.
If you don’t want to park, then walk.
